Thanks for the question.

We have all of our high school videos posted on our YouTube channel. There are several that are about 2-3 minutes in length as well as a few longer ones. You can access the channel by clicking the YouTube button in the footer of all our pages or by going directly to www.youtube.com/startheregoplaces.

Hopefully one of these will work for your needs. Please let us know if you need help with anything else.

Thanks for the question!

The form you'll need is located on the main homepage, which you can access when you first log in or anytime by clicking the "For Teachers" tab in the upper navigation.

Once you're on that page, you'll see the headline "Hot Topics" on the left and a form on the right. The form will allow you to Request Materials, as well as Start a Discussion or Ask a Question. The image below shows you what information you'll need to provide to get your order placed.

Once you click Submit, we'll start processing your order and you should receive the materials in about 5-7 business days.

Thanks for your great question!

We still have the games on the site, we just changed the name of the section from "Games" to "Simulations." You can find them on the student site at startheregoplaces.com/about/simulation/. This section features The Turnaround Game, The Case of the California Con, Trouble In Tulsa / Bling Bling Bad Guys / The Stadium Scam and Bizz Fun. Please note that you and your students will need to create an account on the site in order to use the simulations.

If you're looking for the teacher answer keys, you can find those under the Classroom Curriculum section, then click on Online Simulations.

Start Here, Go Places. offers a number of complimentary resources designed especially for you and your students. You can order 50 copies of each resource.

To order there materials:

Click on the Request Materials tab on the homepage.

Then fill out all of your information, choose the product you want to order and click Submit.

You'll receive a message when your order has been received, processed and shipped.

In the top, center of the page, click My Profile.

Then on the right-hand side, click the Edit Profile button.

Click the My Sign-in Information tab. Then click Change Password.

Enter your current password, new password and repetition of new password. Then click Change Password.

Profile Options

You can change your general profile information by clicking on My Profile in the top middle of any screen.

Then click the Edit Profile button the right-hand side of the screen

Use the first tab, My Profile Options to change:

Name
Birthday
Gender
Language
Public Email

Once you've made the changes, remember to click Save.

Use the third tab, My Bio to change:

Facebook
LinkedIn
Twitter
Personal Website
School Website
School/Organization Information

Once you've made the changes, remember to click Save.

You can "Favorite" places (such as groups or events) and content (files or videos) that you want to access repeatedly or want to have quick access to.

Add favorite places

When you find a place that you want to "Favorite," just click on the Add to Favorites link.

You can view your favorite places by clicking the My Favorites tab on your My Profile page.

Add favorite content

You can also "Favorite" any files or posts in the Educators' Portal. To "Favorite" files or posts, click the Favorite link at the bottom of the post.

The file or post then displays in your My Profile page.

Remove a favorite place

When you favorite a place, the link changes to Remove from Favorites. So if you want to remove it, you can click that button.

Or you can remove the favorite from your My Favorites page. Just go to the list and click Remove next to the place you want to remove.

Remove a favorite item

When you favorite a file or post, the Favorite link changes to Unfavorite This Page.

Or you can remove the favorite item from your My Favorites page. Just go to the list and click Remove next to the item you want to remove.

We encourage you to post files, including photos from conferences, lesson ideas, articles and more to the Share Your Files gallery.

In the Educators' Forum area, first click the Share You Files tab. Then click the New Post button on the right.

Once you click New Post, you will be shown the form below.

Click the Specify File/URL button. Once the new window opens, click Browse.

Then browse for the file on your computer. Click Open when you find the file you want to use.

Once it's uploaded, click Save.

Then add the Name of your file and a Description. Once you are done, click Post.

Creating a forum topic is a great way to spark discussion among other educators.

In the Educators' Forum area, first click the Join the Discussion tab on the left . Then click the New Post button on the right.

Once you click New Post, you will be shown the form below. You can choose to either start a Discussion or ask a Question. Click the button for your choice, add in the Subject and Description. Once you are done, click Post.

Yes! In fact, we encourage you to post your own thoughts, ideas, questions, articles or anything else that other educators across the country might be interested in. Remember that this section is locked down, so you can be sure that only educators and guidance counselors will have access to what you post.

Feel free to post as much as you like and as often as you'd like--we just ask that you keep the topics related to teaching, accounting or other business-related topics.

Being invited into the classroom to speak with high school students provides an opportunity to raise awareness of accounting as a profession and career choice. Providing information to high school students about the CPA profession is important in order to help them understand that this career path is more than just numbers.

We recommended that your presentation be as interactive as possible to keep students engaged in the message. A key component of these high school career presentation outlines center on the AICPA’s StartHereGoPlaces.com student website.

We understand that not every class presentation will offer the same amount of time in front of students. Three different timing outlines (15, 30 and 45 minutes) have been provided to assist you with your preparations. Please feel free to adjust the outline recommendation to suit your needs.

There is also a student quiz that's used in the outlines and a PowerPoint supplement for classrooms that don't have an internet connection available.

Adding a friend

You can add a friend by clicking on their username anywhere you find it on the site (e.g. forum posts, another person's friend list, etc.).

Clicking on a username will take you to that user's Profile Page. Click the "Add as Friend" link in the upper right-hand corner of their profile page to add them as a friend.

Write them a brief message introducing yourself, and click Send Request.

Removing a friend

You can remove a friend by going to your profile.

Then select the Friends tab.

Find the friend you want to remove and click Remove Friend.

Wiki Page: Why don't I have access to the Educators' Forum area?

The Educators' Forum is a locked down area. We have locked it down so only educators who have been verified by Start Here, Go Places. have access to this information. This way, you know that students and marketers are not going to see the comments that you and other educators post.

In order to request access to the forum, click on the Educators' Forum button in the main navigation.

In the pop-up box, please provide school email address, the name of the institution where you teach, the classes and grade you teach and contact information for the school so that your educator status can be confirmed.
